The people who run the TiFFCOFiO catalog write every page on tiffcofio.co. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.

Facts about the products

Outlet counts, cord lengths, wire gauge, load ratings, surge ratings and timer modes come from our own product data. When two descriptions of one product disagree, we print the more careful figure or leave it out.

The photographs and the home page film show our own products on a plain background. Pictures with slogans, arrows or measurements printed over them stay off the site.

What we do not claim

We describe what a timer does and how much load a strip or a cord is rated for. We do not tell you a product is safe for a job it is not rated for, and we do not promise that a surge strip protects every device in every storm. Where a page talks about electrical safety, it names the public source it relies on, and the date we read each source is printed beside it.
